Being clean has brought back my family that I lost in the year of 2001! I lost my wife and children due to using dope. I got a divorce back than also which was so hard. I am still divorced and I don't have my children with me but at least today they do talk to me. I felt as if I had lost everything and in reality I did. I was hopeless, helpless, and homeless when I got into the Program in 2002. Today I am not hopeless, helpless, or homeless I am in Recovery. Recovery didn't give me back everything that I have lost, but it has given me more than what I could or would have ever dreamed. I am happy with the life that I have and try to keep it very simple.
